HUNTER LANDING EQUESTRIAN
"Finding a new barn can be a challenge, especially not having a horse of my own. But when I visited Hunter Landing and met Kelly, I knew I had found a great place to improve my riding. Kelly is an excellent instructor, a fact I have witnessed many times over. She gets to know her students and adapts her teaching style to how each rider learns best. Every time I take a lesson I learn something new and feel myself becoming a better rider. Kelly and her wonderful lesson horses helped me build confidence on and off the horse. Hunter Landing hosts riders of all ages and skill levels who made me feel right at home almost immediately. I recommend Kelly and Hunter Landing for anyone and everyone looking for an encouraging learning environment that will help you make and achieve your riding goals." -Kaysey Hinkle
Lessons are by appointment only. We offer huntseat instruction for all levels and ages of riding (pony rides for children under 5 at regular prices), whether you are riding for your very first time, just having fun, or getting ready for or moving up in the show ring. Lessons are offered daily throughout the year (indoor and outdoor riding arenas), in private, semi-private, or small group formats, and are typically offered as 1 hour sessions.
Ride your horse or ours. We have a handful of reliable school horses, ranging from beginner levels through advanced. Some of our boarded horses are also optionally used in the lesson program. If you do not own a horse or your own tack/equipment, we will match you to a horse that is suited for your riding ability and provide you with tack and equipment. Saftey is our priority!
We are excited to also offer riding and showing opportunities for our lessons students through our own Hunter Landing Show Series, off-site local and recognized shows, and through our middle and high school Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) riding teams (grades 6-12, experience dependent). Students do not need to own a horse if they wish to show. Visit our Services page to learn more.
The on-site instructor/trainer is Kelly Lasher. All activities are fully insured. Meet the instructor by visiting the biographies page.
